In starting a work at home business, most people don't plan to fail. They unfortunately fail to plan. Here's a quick guide to help you keep up with the never ending chores of marketing your business:
Answer Emails. Set aside a specific time of day to answer your emails. Morning works best for
me but you may prefer afternoon or evening. Whatever, get them done. Try to make your response time within 48 hours.
Add a Page to Your Website. Size is not important and it keeps your site fresh.
Join a Forum. There are plenty of directories on your specific interest listed in
your favorite search engine. Start with Google and Yahoo. This venue allows you to build your creditability as well as promote your site.
Run a PPC Campaign. Pay per click campaigns are a great way to drive traffic to your
site. Google Adwords or Yahoo Search Marketing are great.

your site. Start with the biggest first.Google, Yahoo, MSN
Advertise in an Ezine. Ezines specific to your interest can be found in your
favorite search engine. Costs depend on readership size placement etc. Advertise within your budget CONSISTANTLY. ie more than once!
Submit an Article Webpublishers are always on the look out for content rich articles. Submit to your area of expertise.
Newsletter Keep in contact with your customers and prospects on regular basis; either weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
Link Exchange Create links with other similar non-competing sites.
Joint Ventures Seek out a compatable partner to mutually promote each others business. Look for value added services. eg health business may jv with a beauty company,hair
dressing business, fashion company etc.
Have a Break. All work and no play makes Jack/Jill a dull boy/girl. Have some time off with the family and recharge your batteries.
